The ground beef was enough for 3 medium size burgers instead of large ones. Ratings: Wayne – ⭐⭐ – it was good but it was too spicy. This came with a packet of “Asian-style sautéed aromatics” – which included ginger, garlic, and scallions – why couldn’t I have just sautéed them myself? Did I pick some meal that was supposed to be quick prep or something. They weren’t especially spicy/hot but they weren’t exactly mild either.

There was a whole lot of them!! I only used about 5-6 and took out the seeds. Slightly sweet in taste with a delicate texture, they’re like potato chips, you can’t eat just one! You can find these peppers in your local Asian market, farmers markets, and many grocery stores. Shishito peppers are slender and wrinkly with thin-skins and a bright green color. This has Shishito Peppers… what the heck?

I really must have been struggling to find meals that we would like this week…. End of the second week of Blue Apron…next week nothing but Thanksgiving… then I will be going back to Dinnerly for a few weeks because I need extra food now that the “college girls” are home.
